ARP 234-5801 Main Stud Kit — 4-Bolt Small Block Chevy
Eliminate main cap walk and protect engine block threads with ARP's premium main stud kit. Forged from 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated to 190,000 psi tensile strength, these studs deliver reliable clamping force for high-performance builds.
Kit includes 20 studs with 12-point nuts and washers. Designed for large journal crankshafts with mixed thread sizes: 10x 7/16", 4x 3/8", and 6x 7/16". Assembly lubricant included for proper installation torque.
Studs eliminate fatigue failures caused by bolt stretch and fretting, making them essential for boosted, nitrous, or competition engines running elevated cylinder pressures.
